My Soul Mate As I Am getting Older…..

“Soul mate; two little words, one big concept.. A belief that someone somewhere is holding the key to your heart and your dream house. All you have to to do is find them!

So where is this person? And if you love this someone and it didn’t work out; does that mean they weren’t your soul mate? Were they just a run-up contestant in this game show called happily ever after?

And as you move from age box to age box; and the contestants get fewer and fewer, are your chance of finding your soul mate is less and less?”

- Carrie Bradshaw, Sex & The City

A person could be the soulmate but not the person we can live with forever..

Yup, you will find him one day, and then you will smack yourself and say, him!

Do men ponder the same soul mate issues as well?

    Happy Birthday sweetie :*

Not everyone gets to be with their soul mate. It’s really good if you get a good friend whose company you enjoy and who you really like as a person, one with a clean heart and soul who has not done bad things to people (especially you), who wants to do right by you and others and actually does it not just says it, and who wants to have and raise some babies with you. It’s awesome if you have someone like that.

Jewaira: I doubt most men attach the same importance to finding and being with their soul mate as we do, I think they are far more pragmatic and utilitarian about the whole thing and do not attach the same importance to it as we women do. And it may be all about convenience and timing with men and where they are in their lives and careers. Of course, I am generalizing quite broadly. I think women need to redefine and re-examine their definitions of many of the concepts we believe in, in order not to set ourselves up to crash and burn when harsh realities rear their ugly heads
