Among all the good things that happened during 2007, selling our house was the best part of all. It all started in March, when my parents had secretly put the house for sale. The house got many offers yet dear mum refused to sell. May came along and she changed her mind. Few months later, she decided she wanted to sell the house once again. This kept going for a while until November when she finally decided to sell the house and move somewhere else.
Honestly, I never loved our house. It never felt like home. As a kid, I moved around quite a lot. It wasn’t until high school when we moved into this house. Technically, it’s the house where I lived most. Not quite right! I lived there during high school just to move out for college. Since Graduation, the longest I lived in Kuwait was a period of 9 months in which I never felt being home.
I do have some good memories in this house along bad ones. Yet, I’m not sad for leaving it. I usually get attached to places, after all I cried to death the day I moved out of my college days apartment although I lived there for three years only.
We still have couple of months before we officially move out. Soon, I’ll have to pack. Knowing me, you’d know the thing I hate the most is packing. I am a bad packer and just can’t do it. Luckily, I never unpacked many boxes after moving back to Kuwait; some goes back to college days. I’m sure I will go through many things while packing. Some would bring some memories, and some would go straight to trash.

i bought it:P
I’m not much of a packer. When we moved to this house, I was just told to come to this house after school, and when I got here they said “Okay, you live here! Your stuff will be here soon.”.
I still remember my first time using the bathroom in my room, we’ve been best mates ever since.
wish u all the best with your packing , i hate packing :/
