RSVP, It’s Not That Hard….

Why do people never RSVP?

You text a friend inviting them out and they just never get back to you! I’m sorry but I just think this is rude. If you don’t want to or can’t make it, you reply back saying you won’t. You don’t just ignore the person. I would understand if someone did it once or twice but there are those people who do it over and over again.

Me being the “event planner”, I have to deal with such people all the time. Now, I’m threatening; next, I’m boycotting. If someone is not RSVping me the next time I send out an invitation, they will be put on my “X” list; hence, no more invitations.

People be nice, always RSVP.

OMG, I totally agree with you!

When I plan gatherings at my house, I sms everybody I’d like to come and then tell other friends to sms people that I know but don’t have their number.. For the last gathering I smsed around 25 to 30 girls, the people who came were 10.. the rest completely ignored me..

It hurts, it’s like “Ukh.. THAT girl again”

And when I stop inviting them and smsing them, they keep asking me “Laish ga63a? Laish ma etgooleelena if you’re having a gathering”

    It pissed me off!!

I have been visiting your site for a long, LONG time but have never commented (I don’t think?) But I love your blog and thought I should finally say hello.
I too, hate it when people don’t RSVP. But one thing I’ve learned is not to text invites. Or e-mail. Calling people and reaching them directly will put them on the spot and force them to say yes, no, or not sure.. :)
