Since it differs from one case to another, I asked him to elaborate further. He didn’t want to.

it can’t be one or the other, it has to be both. as long as the heart and mind are in the same body they must act as one.
i cant really answer if its one or another, sometimes it has to be the one or the other, i’ve been through a couple of those situations, sometimes i went with my heart, sometimes with my mind

Mind.. i used this question once on someone.. i had to choose between two people, one my heart wanted and one my mind knew was right, i choose heart and regretted it.. because mind uses logic, while the heart follows its desires, at least when u have a change of heart on what you made your mind up about you will go back and find that you had reason

Mind.. the heart is easily swayed and mislead. When it’s ‘right’ the mind will accept it. The only time the mind won’t accept it is when it’s ILLOGICAL.
So if it seems like a bad idea, it probably is.

here’s how I see it:
Following your heart means you’ll be very dramatic, every emotional, very lovesick, very needy, very whiney, very insecure,.. the list goes on.
Follow your mind, so that when he follows his heart you’re luck just rolled a hard 8 =} if he decides to quit following then well you’re on the safe side =}

The mind is effected by everything we see and hear, so it’s not only his voice, but everyone and everything around him. Mindsets change as people change and time changes.
Wispers of the heart are what you really want regardless of whatever and whoever no matter how much you deny it. Maybe what your heart is set on will change, but its a change from you, not affected by others. Following your heart means you’ll live with no regret or what might have been
Being brave or right doesn’t necessarily mean go with your mind or logic or whats common, it’s fighting for what you really are and what you really beleive in, what you want regardless of what others think. If it’s not common, then be the change you want to see in the world…someday it will be considered “right”
I vote for the mind although 90% of the time I go with what my heart desires :/
