
I sent a very long email to Al-Corniche club after failing to talk to this Alex guy. I ended up being on hold for a long time and them telling me he’ll call me back when in fact he never did. In a response to my email, the sales Manager, Mr. Omar Moussah wrote me back.
I have to give Mr. Moussah credit. He is the same manager my friend talked to yesterday morning. In his email, he was very apologetic and explained that the Spa is not under his department yet he would raise the issue during a management meeting later in the day; which he did since I just got a call from the higher management.
The person who called introduced himself as “Mishal Al-Saleh from Al-Corniche” and didn’t mention his position. I personally think this would be a negative point; it didn’t really matter to me since I already know who he is. Mr. Al-Saleh explained that he called to “thank” me for taking the time to write such long email. He then asked if the therapists and receptionist were from a certain nationality, I answered him yes. He replied back, “oh, that’s why. I am sorry but those are new staff and not experienced”. We chatted a little bit more and then hang up. He didn’t offer to give any direct contact information for further use which I didn’t like too. I appreciate that someone from the upper management actually took the time to call me back; yet, I still feel that they could’ve handled this issue in a better way. Having an inexperienced staff is never an excuse for a bad service. Why would you hire inexperience people from the first place anyway?
Would I ever go there again? I’m not sure, at least not anytime soon.

you sure don’t know me. I am known for complaining and getting ALOT of free services. Boy, I enjoyed doing that in the US where I had to shout little, here I have to scream out loud. Honestly, this time, I wasn’t looking for something free, I wanted him to offer me somthing so bad so I could refuse it! That’s what pissed me ;P

They’ve changed their spa management few times already. I seriously think that place is a bad luck!
You can get something from one of their affiliates, I am sure they are connected to something. If Mark can get pizza for a roach, you can get something
Shoppa, glad to hear that the management heard about this issue at least it should get thier attention, but usually what they do is they think its important this week, they try to solve it then unfortunately everything goes back to the way it was. anyways im still waiting for a reply on your “Its Official!” post.

Yeah blame it on the foriegn workers when the real blame should lay with the idiotic management.
Has anybody considered why Al Corniche Club has had 4/5/6 General Managers, is it not too much of a co-incidence that they all did not work out!! I think, as a member, that there are larger problems than the Managers, they are the ones that take the blame for others, even as a Kuwaiti I can confess to this.
I went to Al Corniche Club after reading your review expecting the worst, but even though I only used the pool and the gym I was struck by how professional and nice the staff were. And the place is gorgeous.

The Corniche club is amazing place, i have visited the club with my family and the sales manager over there Mr. Omar gave us a great tour and was very kind and nice with my children.
I would surely be a memeber in thsi club.
I incourage all to visit this amazing club.
