While most of my family members were either out of town or down at the beach house, I spent New Year’s Eve home alone. Pathetic, ha? Not really. It was a nice quite night that was spent reading and watching TV. It was about half way through the show 6/6 when I started to have a rerun of my life this past year. Many events passed by me while sitting there watching TV, some were happy moments, some were sad. So here are some highlights of 2005 for me:
- Realized that someone who is great and has been in love with me forever exists in this world.
- Took a chance and actually won.
- Was very close to seeing death.
- Officially started this blog.
- Fell in love with a city I once hated, London.
- Won the 1st round against Islamists May 16th.
- Wasn’t there to share the celebration with the people I wanted to be with most.
- Did a lot of traveling and met up with many friends.
- Was in love without knowing it.
- Got propsed to.
- Lost 2 friends to car accidents.
- Lost 2 people dear to me to heart disease.
- Lost someone I loved to Cancer.
- 2 friends got engaged, 6 were married.
- 4 friends had their first baby while 2 are expecting the second.
- Moved permanently to Kuwait.
- Was about to leave.
- Lost a friend.
- Believed in love once again.

Sometimes simple is the best! I was at home too, ‘cept I had a few friends come over in their pj’s and fluffy slippers. We ordered takeout and watched tv. It was nice, and simple! It’s fun reliving your good memories
