I was there and so was him. She was there too, crying, sad and confused. I managed to keep quite so he wouldn’t notice me, he didn’t. There I sat in silent fearing he would hear the breath I take. She was in fear too, what if he knew? Then, both of us will be in trouble, a really big one. At first, we kept communicating through SMS, then I stopped in fear of him noticing. They talked, I kept silent. I listened, and felt the need to cry out loud, I am here, I hear you and feel the exact same way. Instead, I kept silent.
She was sad, he was mad. His tone scared me. She started crying, and then his tone softened. “Stop crying”, he said. Then, he started comforting her. It didn’t take him long to mention me. All the things he said! He had no idea I was there. He was sure she wouldn’t tell me. He said the truth and for the first time, I felt it. The words were straight from the heart. She didn’t feel comfortable about this and tried to redirect the subject, he wouldn’t listen. All his thoughts revolved around one person and nothing was changing that.
Sounds like you are special to somebody. Good for you, sucks for her.
