I was about to leave home when I almost hit this little boy, about 6 years old, who was running in the middle of street. I stopped and waved at him to cross the street. He approached my car and when I rolled my window I found him crying so hard. You can tell the poor kid was in total shock! I tried to calm him down but it didn’t work out. All I could hear was “my brother, my house, my family”. I freaked out. What if something bad happened to his family?
I asked him to get into the car just to realize that his 21 years old brother decided to abandon his little brother in the middle of the street for fun! I was like WTF! How can someone do that? It is total insane. The boy was so scared that he couldn’t give me directions to their house. It took me 10 minutes before getting a phone number from the poor kid.
I call the number and to my surprise his family didn’t even notice the boy being out of the house. When I told the girl on the phone I had their kid, she freaked out. What good freaking out will do you? I have no idea. I drove to their house. The house was more than a 10-minute drive. EGHHH, I’m loosing my temper just writing this. So, I get there and the whole family rushes out to meet me to get their boy. Oh, so now they all love and care about him, right? Guess who got the nerves to come and talk to me? You guessed it, Mr. Big Brother who abandoned his little brother miles away from home. Being me, I started lecturing the guy. “How can you do that to your little brother? What if some psycho found him and God know what could’ve he done to him”. The brother looked me smiling and said “Thank you” and left.
Seriously? Yannaw il awadim
what a crap-bag!!
That’s messed up. The parents should be doing the lecturing not you. :/
You should have taken him to the police and told them the story.
Those kind of people don’t deserve having kids.
Papillona,
That’s exactly what I thought.
Snookie,
YES!
3baid,
Thank you!
TF,
and what would the police do? Nothing! they will give him back to his family, no lecturing no nothing.
Seriously, I consider this child abuse!
that poor kid. 6 years old and out on the streets by himself. what were his parents thinking? good thing you found him shopa.
Its a shame the parents we see nowadays, no one even cares about their children anymore! They are all over the place. And that’s just one example of the clumsiness of parents. What’s funny is that when their kids become druggies, or are lost, they go “What did we do wrong?!”
Holy macaroni!!!!!! that’s awful..awful…awful…bass if I didn’t know better..I’d say there was a purpose for all of this…you needed to be a hero for a day…or you needed to test your “motherly instinct” and honey…you just past with flying colors!!! CONGRATULATIONS! As for the Big brother…well…let’s just say Karma will take care of that…what a Shmuk!
I am so glad that you were the one who found him and took him home. Heaven knows what could have happened to him poor thing. His brother sounds sick.
