A worker, a friend, a reader and a coffee addict

At work trying to finish this project I am working on. My mind is blank and can’t think anymore. I want my coffee. AKHH, I had no idea it will be this hard. I’ve talked to at least 20 different people in the past few hours. Now it is quiet with most people gone for lunch.

I am really hungry! That’s it. No more not having “sohoor” anymore. I haven’t even had a decent “fetoor” yesterday and now what? I am STARVING. OK, hang in there Shopy, five more hours to go. FIVE HOURS!! EKKHhhhh, I will be spending 3 hours of them working. Dear God, please let time pass by fast today.

I miss hanging out with my friends. I MISS THEM ALOT. Lately, I haven’t been a good friend. I admit, I was avoiding some friends and didn’t have enough time for others. Oh give me a break, it’s not like I had a choice, I have been extremely busy. Anyhow, I decided that good Shopy should be back and spent all yesterday contacting friends and chatting with them. I made plans to meet with a friend tonight, two friends on Thursday and 4 others on Saturday. See? Good friend Shopy.

It’s taking me forever to finish reading my current novel, and by forever, I mean over three weeks now. It is only 400sh pages and I usually finish that number of pages within few days. It is a love story and I am not really sure that I like it. The only reason I am reading it because of the author. She went to the same school as me and was working on her novel while on school. There was a big fuss about it then and when she actually published it, I decided to give it a shot.

I smell coffee and this is not good. DAMN the coffee addiction. Ok, I am back to work now.

Well..in your other post you wished Ramadan will be a fun this year…so how’s it going so far?..:)…So how come your fasting and other people left for lunch?…Allah yesa3dich..I quit coffee a long time back ‘coz of the crazy craveness that goes with it…now it’s green tea which keeps me calmer…at least in theory!..:)

    Purgy,
    so when?

    3baid,
it seems like a nice movie. Trust me her life seems nothing like mine ;P

    misscosmo,
It is nothing close to being fun! I work mostly with non-muslims, that’s why they still do lunch time. I can’t quit coffee and I hate green tea. Well, I hate tea period.

I feel for you…I’m in the same position where they’re mostly non muslims too…I guess we get more browny points that way..:)
