This weekend was very VERY busy and crazy. Again, I was away on vacation. I know I have been on way too many vacations but I was in need for this last one. My friends and I left early Friday morning and drove for about eight hours. The hotel was nice and I had this really nice room with a sea view. The weather was surprisingly nice. It didn’t rain until late Sunday night and all yesterday when we were driving back. I felt relaxed and was able to sleep for the first time in few weeks. I had couple of long chats with one of my friends. One night, we stayed up very late by the beach and talked for hours. I was going through a tough time and he was very understanding and supportive.
On the way back to London, I got a phone call from someone who is related to a friend. He claimed they were in London and having an “emergency”. He made it like he was desperate for my help and insisted on meeting up with him ASAP. Since I never trust people and I always have to analyze things, I started thinking about it and concluded that this is probably a trick to get me meet up with the person whom my heart was missing a lot, yet my mind refused to answer his calls.
After driving for eight hours, I was very tired and wanted nothing more than to stay home and get some sleep. Instead, showered, changed and called the guy to meet up with him. While walking, I kept thinking how I will react if he was there. I was sure he will be there but I went regardless. I got there and there he was. A man, I have never met in my life who sat across from me explaining his problem asking for help. At that point, I felt disappointed. I really wanted him to be there and surprise me.
Just when I was about to leave, I looked and there he was in front of me smiling. HE WAS THERE. The two of them started laughing and right there I knew who the other guy was. We spoke on the phone many times but never met. Since I was not returning his phone calls, he thought the best way to get me to talk was to fly here. His cousin planned the whole thing. Since all flights were fully booked, they had to fly more than 10 hours and change planes to get here and they are only staying for few days. The three of us sat and talked for few hours. A friend told me this morning that I look happy for the first time in weeks. Well, I guess I am. Things are not officially back to normal but I feel love is back in the air.

aaaaahhhhh…HOW EXCITING!!!! About time something romantic like that got reported…:)..that’s wonderful…from an over analyzer to another…try not to over analyze..:).(my friends tell me that all the time!)…enjoy creating wonderful memories and looking great…and take a deep breath finally trusting in life…even if it were a short while…bass inshallah it’ll be for a long while..:)
Well its seems to be a nice real life story, but got a bit lost since there was no background info.
But never take big steps as a sign of stability. I once had to fly 5 hours just to fix a little problem and come back, got it fixed, but after years there is nothing between us now. In anycase I hope this one is legit!
