Weekend Update

Friday was a very long day. For no reason, I woke up at 5:30 am instead of 7, my regular wake-up time. At work, it was boring. The office was empty and quite. It never is. How weird. I spent most of the day surfing the web and blogging.Bad me, Didn’t do my work. At night, my friend and I went to see “Saturday Night Fever, The Musical”. Wow, that was great. The dancing, the singing, it was so much fun. I was very tired from not sleeping well the night before but the show was worth it. Just before the show ended, I got a very disturbing text message that ruined my night, & no I don’t want to talk about it. I got home around 12 am and wasn’t able to sleep.

Saturday seemed short. I slept most of the day. Met some friends for dinner in this fancy Italian restaurant. Well, we didn’t know it was this fancy. Seriously, women were all the same dressed up in their Channel suits and their pearls necklaces. I got “the head-to-toe” look from everyone there. The food was great. There were three of us and we had to pay over £150. As I was getting on the tube late that night, a guy pushed me and I fell over. Thank god, I was getting into the tube not leaving it. My foot still hurt and I can’t stop thinking why that idiot who pushed me!

Sunday was relaxing. Did my laundry, cleaned my apartment, did some shopping and watched TV. I also had a nice long talk with my mum. It has been a while since we did this. I spent most of Sunday night reading Dan Brown’s The Davinci Code. It seems like I am the only person in this world that hasn’t read this book yet.

Oh no, you’re not the only one who hasn’t read that book! :P But I’m so happy, I bought it today. Will start reading it soon. I have a year to start and finish reading it. Next summer the movie is coming out. ;) Tom Hanks.

Angels and Demons is a much better read, much more faster pace, with Da Vinci the action doesn’t really start until Chapter 50 or so.. with Angels and Demons you’re hooked from the beginning!

Hello there! Maybe Friday seemed longer and Saturday seemed shorter ‘cuz you’re still functioning with the Kuwaity mindset (Fridays are long and boring) :P Don’t let the head-to-toe “look” get to you, dear. Girls will be girls :P As for the Da Vinci Code, I just finished it recently so you’re not the only person that hasn’t read it yet ;) Take care, dear! Ciao

    jackie,
angels & demons is on my desk. I will probably start on it the next few days

    D&G,
heheheh it wont ;p to see you around

    f,
I am in the UK..EWWW the worst thing you would do is to share a house/apartment. I did that when I was in the US & learned my lesson. Sharing a house with family is different.
