I decided to write my favourite birthday moments

23rd B-Day: Saw “The Sleeping Beauty on Ice”, a really good show.

22nd B-Day: My favourite cake, Pralines & Cream with vanilla cake, melted due to the stupidity of one of my good friends. She forgot that ice-cream melts when not put in the freezer.

21st B-Day: My American friends decided to treat me with an American style 21st birthday party. They surprised me at my apartment with Mixing-up Non-alcoholic party. Now I know that “Bloody Merry” really stinks.

20th B-Day: The cake and lovely card I got from an anonymous. If you are reading this, I still want to know WHO YOU ARE!

17th B-Day: Knowing that my friends are planning me a surprise party, I insisted on ruining it. They got very frustrated but ended up tricking me. I still keep a picture displayed that shows how surprised I was when I opened my apartment’s door. It is one of my all-time favourite pictures.

16th B-Day: That year I got at least 10 different B-day parties. My little sister and 2 other friends trapped me in the shower and let cold running water on me for a while. It wasn’t funny at the time, it is now. I remember getting sick and spending the rest of the week in bed.

13th B-Day: I remember it was Eid and for some reason everyone forgot my birthday. I ended up very sick and was hospitalized for the day. Was it for real? Or did I just fake it to get attention? Can’t really remember.

9th B-Day: Kuwait is free but I am still not there. Mum came back from Kuwait on my B-day as she promised & got me a gift that I still have.

6th B-day: My parents grounded me and I was not able to attend my own birthday party. Don’t ask me what I did because I don’t remember and so is my mum.
