You’ve got a TV

“Your TV is safe standing there in the hallway of your flat”! Oh hearing this really made my day! You have no idea what I’ve been through the past three weeks to get this TV. Why everything seems so hard in this country? I have no idea! Why does it take 3 damn weeks to deliver a TV? I have no idea!!

Three weeks ago, I bought a TV that was due for delivery the next working day, a Monday. I even paid for rush delivery! Guess what you get for paying extra money? Nothing! NO TV! To make things worse, as I always do, I lost my receipt! I know it is my fault and I shouldn’t be loosing it but I DID! Big deal! Couldn’t they track my order using my name, address, telephone number, credit card number, anything? NO! They wouldn’t even bother. The store even refused to give me my money back. After going through every corner in my apartment for few days, I yelled to my friends “I found it”! I call the stupid store giving them the reference number and what I get? Bunch of B.S. about them delivering the TV already. Ahhhh thinking about it now makes me mad. Endless phone calls that cost you A LOT and being put on hold for what seems like forever and all you get is lame excuses! We can’t find your TV, we delivered it already, we have no record of the purchase, no one was there to receive it, we have the wrong address, blah blah blah!

I got really mad! It is not like I am a TV person! I, actually, hate watching TV. But I got mad, and I have the right to. Who wouldn’t anyway? I spent my money on that TV and would really love seeing it sitting there in my beautiful living room. Finally this morning, after three weeks of craziness, the site manager called with the news; “Your TV is safe standing there in the hallway of your flat”.
